Polyurethane, welded-steel swivel caster with brake, 250 mm – 1,500 kg

This 250 mm swivel caster with brake has a highly robust welded-steel fork and a cast-iron wheel with a polyurethane tread. This makes it particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications, uneven surfaces and environments where collisions or heavy lateral loads may occur.

The swivel fork has an 8 mm mounting plate and a sturdy swivel race with an axial thrust bearing and a tapered roller bearing. The swivel race is well sealed and lubricated, and can be relubricated if necessary. The swivel fork is fitted with a front-facing brake that locks both the swivel race and the wheel at the same time.

The polyurethane tread is vulcanized onto a cast-iron hub and offers good resistance to wear, tearing and cuts. Thanks to its two precision ball bearings, the wheel has low rolling resistance and rolls smoothly, even under heavy loads.
