Shockproof and robust

The reinforced swivel fork, in combination with a thick polyurethane tyre, makes these braked heavy-duty swivel castors suitable for demanding conditions where robust use is the norm. They offer reliable support for transport trolleys that are exposed to heavy loads, shocks and peak loads. Although a swivel castor can fail in a serious forklift collision, they show resistance to lighter collisions, uneven terrain and sporadic overloading.

Wear resistance and durability

The polyurethane tyre is resistant to rough concrete floors with steel shavings, dust, oil and other dirt factors. Thanks to the hardness of polyurethane and its elasticity, it hardly wears at all when rubbing against rough surfaces. The reinforced swivel remains lubricated throughout its lifespan and is sealed with a red dust ring that effectively keeps out dirt and dust.

Low resistance

The natural character of polyurethane results in minimal friction with the surface, which ensures low rolling resistance and long-term rolling continuity. Precision ball bearings (6202 ZZ) are integrated on both sides, with a deliberate choice for a larger ball bearing to optimise user-friendliness and rolling resistance. The swivel resistance is minimised thanks to the fully filled double ball race in the swivel fork.
