Forward brake

The yellow galvanized brake is placed on the opposite side of the swivel fork, unlike standard swivel casters. When pushing, the brake moves forward with the wheel, preventing protruding parts on the pushing side of the transport cart. This reduces the risk of collisions with the tibia and increases safety. The brake is fully adjustable and locks both the wheel and the fork simultaneously, without play.

Optional directional lock

These castors with a forward brake can be expanded with a directional lock. This mechanism blocks the swivel function and ensures that the wheel acts as a fixed wheel. The directional lock is mounted under the top plate and is easily operated with the foot. As soon as it is activated and the cart starts moving, the swivel wheel automatically turns into a fixed wheel, regardless of the starting position of the swivel fork. This contributes to stable and controlled movement.
