Shock and impact resistant

The reinforced swivel fork combined with a polyamide wheel is designed for intensive use. These heavy-duty swivel castors are ideal for heavily loaded transport carts that may occasionally experience shock loads and side impacts. The swivel fork has a double hardened ball race, firmly riveted at several points, so that there is no play.

Wear-resistant and long lifespan

The polyamide wheel performs excellently on flat concrete floors with few dirt factors. For surfaces with dirt factors or rough surfaces, polyurethane is a better choice. Polyamide is hard and has low rolling resistance on flat, clean surfaces. However, more vibrations and noise can occur on rough surfaces. Polyamide is very wear- and impact-resistant. The reinforced slewing ring is well lubricated and can be re-lubricated via the grease nipple. The thickened slewing ring is almost completely sealed and has a red dust ring as extra protection against dust and dirt.

Low rolling resistance

The hardness and slight convexity of the polyamide wheel means there is little contact surface with the ground, resulting in very little friction. This ensures low rolling resistance and long rolling continuity. The wheels have a precision ball bearing (6204 ZZ) on both sides and are mounted without tension.

Optional: directional lock

The heavy-duty casters can be equipped with a directional lock. This option is available to block the swivel function, so that the wheel functions in one direction like a fixed caster. The directional lock is mounted under the top plate and can be operated with the foot. When activated, the mechanism automatically clamps, regardless of the position of the castor fork.
